Pain-Free Dental Marketing is a Digital Markteting Agency located in Texas working mainly with Dental Practices across the US. They offer an effective, affordable pack of solutions to put together Dentists and Patients, including website redesign projects, which our team at Ameba was in charge for X years.
Given our combined knowledge about the industry, we were able to craft multiple sites for several dental agencies focusing on the clients’ unique value propositions and conversion results.
The Challenge
Being affordability one of the main values of our client, having an established and well-oiled design workflow with reusable components and processes was a must.
Although there are commonalities in the dental care business, every practice has its own strengths to be highlighted in each redesign project. A deep understanding of each practice was needed prior to working on a web redesign process.
Making several sites per year, it’s easy to fall into templatization. We have to make sure every final product is uniquely crafted for every practice, and visual design must reflect that.
The process
Knowing about the client
A deep dive into the client’s unique characteristics: History, accolades, strengths, affiliations and memberships, office location, interior design and decor, technology and services offered, preferred clients, reviews in Google, ranking sites, and social media, among other details. Knowing all of this helped us to design a bespoke site every time.
Content Structure
Crafting a compelling storytelling on why to choose the client’s practice, highlighting their strengths and inviting potential clients to keep scrolling and ultimately to put in contact with the practice to schedule an appointment. Every site must also be accessible and useful for returning patients looking to schedule again, and to patients who are already decided to get more info about location, office hours and insurance policy.
Homepage design
To keep the design process affordable and being confident on the reusable components we have already designed and developed, we go straight up into the visual UI design. The homepage works as a reference for the all other collateral pages, so once it’s ready, we presented it to the PFDM team to discuss it with the client.
I leveraged the agency's custom Gutenberg blocks template to efficiently design marketing websites for our clients. This pre-built library of reusable content blocks allowed me to accelerate turnaround times and reduce design and development costs, so I was able to focus on the unique strengths of every client and craft compelling visual storytelling on every project.
Collateral pages design
Based on the homepage and the feedback from the client, the rest of the pages are designed as well. Single services template, Meet the team, and First Visit useful information were the most common, but each practice was different and required different ways to display this information in front of users.
Hand-off to developers
Our internal developer team was fully integrated into our workflow and components, so a short meeting with the dev to discuss each project's unique characteristics was enough.
Following this process I was able to successfully deliver +20 projects within a year, with the entire workflow occurring within 2-3 weeks on average. 100% of our clients were satisfied with the final result, and once the new site was online, we got a 30% increment in conversion rate in average.
